Tremp is packed with world-class enduro trails, but with so many options, knowing where to ride can be overwhelming.

To help you plan your trip, here’s a breakdown of some of the best and most iconic trails in the Tremp area.

What Makes Tremp Trails Special?

Before jumping into specific trails, it’s important to understand the riding style here.

Tremp trails are typically:

  • Natural rather than bike-park groomed

  • Technical and varied

  • Long and physically demanding

  • Fast and flowy in places, steep and rocky in others

This is real mountain biking – the kind that leaves you grinning and exhausted at the end of the day.

With so many amazing singletracks in the area, this was never going to be an easy choice. Here are our top 5 trails in Territori Lo Podall (Tremp):

Feixancs

Feixancs is a technical downhill singletrack with the classic rocky “slab” feel of the Roques Pelades area. The trail starts with broad, exposed stone sections that offer excellent traction and striking views, then eases into moderately pitched sections where you’ll need to maintain momentum. There are a few drops and optional features, including “double” jumps with chicken lines for those who prefer to stay grounded. Its excellent drainage makes it rideable even after wet conditions, and it’s popular for being a bit more committed than many other local options.

Escorpins

Escorpins is a flow-oriented singletrack that traces part of the Roques Pelades ridgeline, starting with a slight climb before threading bermed turns and moderate features toward the lower valley. It combines scenic high-ridge sections with fast, exhilarating flow and optional small jumps and drops (all with escape lines), making it a versatile descent. Riders appreciate it for its mix of technical interest and rhythm, and views over the Pallars countryside.

Serengueti

Serengueti is a fast, fun singletrack that leans toward moderate difficulty but stays engaging with occasional technical steps and quick transitions. Running on clay-dominated soil with relatively little rock, it’s usually very enjoyable when dry, offering playful flow and link-up options with other nearby tracks like Afganistrail and MX lines. It’s best ridden in dry conditions, as the clay can get sticky and slippery after rain.

Escolopendra

Escolopendra is one of the most consistently popular trails in the region, Escolopendra is known for its fast, flowing singletrack that winds through varied terrain with good grip and enjoyable rhythm. It’s a great pick for riders looking to link multiple trails or include a fun descent in a longer loop, with a strong user rating that reflects its balance of technical interest and flow.

Slick Rock Pallarés

Slick Rock Pallarés is a short but memorable singletrack descent known for its distinguishing rock sections: sandy and loose at first, then transitioning onto hard rock slabs marked with white lines that define the best skid-free lines. Riders follow exposed, grippy geology that rewards careful bike handling and precise tire placement — the rock doesn’t get muddy easily and offers good traction even when damp. Its unique terrain and smooth descent have made it a standout favorite in the network.

We can't finish this list without highlighting other trails like: Roques Pelades, Valkyries, Arizona Cactus, Dragon Khan Pallarés and Maf.

Choosing the Right Trails

Not every trail in Tremp is suitable for every rider. Conditions can be demanding, and many routes require good bike handling skills.

That’s why riding with a local guide is so valuable – they can tailor the day to your ability and preferences.

Trail Conditions

Tremp’s dry climate means trails are rideable most of the year. Even after rain, some singletracks dry quickly, and grip is usually excellent. This doesn't apply to all the trails though. Trails like Serengueti, Afganistrail and Escolopendra should be avoided when they are wet. The sticky clay in this area becomes very slippery and riding under wet conditions will cause trail damage.

Final Tip

Don’t just chase a list of names – let a local show you the best combinations. The magic of Tremp is not just individual trails, but how they link together into unforgettable days.
